Who determines if my appliance is repairable or wether it needs to be replaced?
Complete Appliance Protection, after consulting with the servicer making the service call, will determine if the appliance is worth repairing. If a determination is made that the appliance should be replaced, Complete Appliance Protection will reimburse you, based on the schedule below, for the purchase of a new appliance.

Am I required to purchase this CAP Home Protection Plan to obtain financing? » top
No, the purchase of the CAP Home Protection Plan is solely the decision of the buyer or seller of the house.

When does the buyer's protection start? » top
The Buyer’s enrollment form and payment must be sent on or before the day of closing. The Buyer’s protection starts as soon as closing has occurred and the enrollment form has been received.

Does CAP pay for emergency overtime charges? » top
Complete Appliance Protection will pay overtime charges for furnace repairs when there is a risk of water lines freezing. Complete Appliance Protection will also pay overtime charges for Air Conditioner repairs when there is a health risk. Anytime a customer desires expedited service and is willing to pay the overtime portion of a bill, Complete Appliance Protection will pay the normal labor and part charges.

If my refrigerator goes out and the food spoils, is that also protected? » top
Complete Appliance Protection pays for all repair and maintenance to get the refrigerator back in working order. Any secondary damage to food or water on the floor is not a part of this program.

How do I submit my enrollment form? » top
You have four options for submitting your application.
1) Phone: 1.800.978.2022
2) Fax: please call 1.800.978.2022 for our fax number
3) Mail: Complete Appliance Protection, Attn: Enrollments, P.O. Box 4047, Topeka, KS 66604-0047
4) Provide the closing company with the enrollment section of the brochure (with the buyers information filled out) and ask them to pay for it out of the closing proceeds.

I have already submitted my enrollment information but the closing date has
changed.
